Spain Commit to De La Fuente Through the 2032 European Championship

The Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) has confirmed a contract extension for head coach Luis de la Fuente that will keep him in charge of the national team until 2032.

The renewal ties De La Fuente to Spain's preparations for the 2030 World Cup, which the country will co-host, and through to the following European Championship two years later.

De La Fuente has led Spain since December 2022, a period in which the team has combined strong tournament results with a steady integration of younger players into the senior squad. The federation's board pointed to that continuity as central to its decision.
